City Partnership
Suppliers. Within the city and further afield we have well-established relationships with accommodation providers, social venues, and event suppliers - all of which we can collate competitive rates and availability for on your behalf.
PCO's. We can collaborate with PCOs for you, and facilitate interviews at our venue. There are many local PCO and DMC’s who are on hand to assist, and who know our city very well.
Network. The EICC Ambassador network spans across Edinburgh's four universities and the city's thriving industry. At the EICC, and in Edinburgh, your conference is well-placed to benefit from the collective knowledge of these academics and professionals, which spans countless fields of expertise. Within this network, there are also great opportunities to learn from other ambassadors who can share their experience of hosting conferences.
Partnerships. We believe in meaningful collaborations which can add value to our clients conference, so in 2019 the EICC formed a partnership agreement with Edinburgh's BioQuarter.
Convention Edinburgh is the city’s convention bureau. Their website Meeting Edinburgh can help take some of the legwork out of gathering city wide information for your event. You can create a shortlist of suppliers and then send your request to multiple businesses in the city at the same time.

EICC Boardroom. Ahead of your conference we'll provide a complimentary boardroom for your committee or planning meetings.

Packages. We have a series of Added Value Packages, which are designed to reward your conference, and give your delegates a treat, regardless of your numbers.
Travel
Air & Rail. Edinburgh Airport can be reached from 150+ worldwide destinations. Within the UK, there are 50+ daily flights to London. And by rail, delegates travelling from London can reach Edinburgh in just 4 hours.
Tram & Bus. The Edinburgh Tram service is an efficient and sustainable way to reach the city centre from the airport, and within the city there is frequent and reliable network of buses.
Foot & Peddle. Being a compact and walkable city, your delegates might choose to get around on foot, or they might use Edinburgh's Cycle Hire scheme, which includes both regular and electric bikes.

Legacy & Promotion
We're well-positioned to help you shout about your event before, during and after it takes place. Below are some of the opportunities that you can take advantage of. But we love new ideas! So please let us know if there's something else that we can help you achieve.
Content. We can provide compelling content and promotional materials which will assist you in promoting Edinburgh as your next conference destination.
Promotions. Ahead of your conference, we will list the event details on EICC's What’s On page and promote it via our social media channels. We can also discuss local PR opportunities and creating a bespoke EICC Ideas Hub piece.
EICC Live. Take advantage of EICC Live, our series of free public talks, and host one alongside your conference programme. It's a great opportunity to collaborate with local industry and to widen the reach of your message. We will take care of the logistics and promote it for you.
Public Engagement. If you'd like to hold a public engagement event out with the EICC then we can connect you with the right industry, academic or local authority contacts to make it happen. We'd also be happy to assist with creative ideas to make an impact.
Mark the Day. Start a National Day for your association's field of expertise, during your conference. Or, get your delegates involved in attempting a World Record - we've seen this work as positive opportunity to bring delegates together to communicate, collaborate and laugh!
Sustainability. We're passionate about making a positive impact, so we've established relationships with a few sustainability heroes which help us in achieving that, and which your conference can benefit from too. For example, we can assist with donating any surplus delegate materials to local schools and communities, which are in need of resources.
Impact Reports. We will record the environmental, societal and economic impact of your event and provide you with a comprehensive report afterwards.
