EICC access equipment is for EICC personnel and EICC Self Employed Technicians use only. If Production Companies require the use of access equipment they will have been asked to provide their own. If access to this equipment is requested please refer them to the Technical Planner of the event.

1) MEWP – This can be driven by IPAF certified EICC permanent staff or Self Employed Technicians. Please provide the EICC with a digital or hardcopy of this license before using the equipment. There are guidelines relating to your safety and to the use of this equipment, therefore, you must ensure that you are aware of these before using this equipment.

A key to use this access equipment is signed out from Security Control. When you sign out the key your are responsible for this equipment. Please do not pass the key to another person without informing security and asking the next person to sign for it.

2) Ladders – There are times when a ladder is suitable to use. When using a ladder it must be footed by another member of staff at all times to ensure Health & Safety regulations are met. At no time should you rig from a ladder. If you are unsure or uncomfortable about access to carry out your work please stop and contact the Technical Planner or any other member of the full time technical team.
