The EICC was proud to host the International Papillomavirus Society (IPVS) 36th Conference, a landmark event that brought a global audience together to tackle HPV-related diseases. Through ongoing education and outreach, the committee is dedicated to leaving a lasting legacy on public health.
In June 2024, The Royal College of Psychiatrists held a conference with a welcoming, accessible and approachable environment. It blended learning and professional networking with social opportunities, cultural enrichment and fun.Â
In June, the Association of Cardiovascular Nursing & Allied Professions (ACNAP) worked with the EICC to deliver a conference which raised awareness of heart health, and created opportunities to discuss crucial policy changes needed to Scottish Government guidance.
In March 2023, EICC hosted It Takes All Kinds of Mind (ITAKOM), an international conference focused on neurodiversity, which drew together personal, practitioner and academic experience. Explore how we ensured the conference was a successful and enjoyable experience for all.
The British Hip Society Annual Scientific Meeting brings together hip specialty surgeons, from trainees to senior consultants. In 2023, the society set out to engage the younger generation through educational sessions with local school pupils.Â
